She has sung Zerlina in Don Giovanni (in both Italian and German), and Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro in Vienna. She premiered “A Song for Soprano and Left Hand” at a concert organized by Vienna Contemporary Association. The composition was composed by Prof. Elzbieta Wiedner- Zajac of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and dedicated to Mrs. Shimizu.
In Japan, she has appeared in many opera productions, include Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Pamina in Magic Flute, Brahms’s Sandmӓnnchen as well as in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony as a soprano soloist. She actively performs solo recitals and have performed a duo concert with renown Japanese guitarist Masahiro Masuda.
She finished first at 22nd annual Ichikawa Cultural Foundation New Performers Competition, and placed third at 29th Iizuka New Commers Music Competition. A long list of award she has received include the Kyusyu Asahi Broadcasting Award, Iizuka City Board of Education Award, Iizuka Cultual Association Iizuka Award. She captured 1st at 2nd Tokyo International Vocal Competition, and was a finalist at 15th “Concert Marronnier21” Vocal Competition.
